Safar ki Dua in Arabic – سفر کی دعا

Traveling is an important part of life, and saying the Safar ki Dua is a means to recognize our reliance on Allah when we are on the road. Reason for Reciting Safar ki Dua:

Reciting this prayer will ask Allah to protect and guide you on a safe voyage. It says, “In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor strength except with Allah.”

Safar ki Dua #01

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَـٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُون

Subhana allathee sakhkhara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrineen. Wa inna ila rabbina lamunqaliboon

English Translation:
“Glory is to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it. And, indeed, to our Lord, we will [surely] return.”

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ تَوَکَّلْتُ عَلَی اللّٰہِ وَلَا ہَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ

Bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alal-Lahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor strength except with Allah.

اللہ کے نام میں، میں نے اللہ پر بھروسہ کیا ہے اور اللہ کے سوا کوئی طاقت اور قوت نہیں ہے۔
